FY23 Shannon Community Safety Initiative: Local Action Research Partnership funding awarded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety & Security to Dr. Dara Drawbridge (PI) and Jinnia Baiye, BA (Research Coordinator II) at UMass Chan. This project provides research, evaluation, training, and technical assistance to the City of Fitchburg in their work to reduce gang violence. In FY23, project activities include planning and design of a youth and young adult community advisory board for the City of Fitchburg’s Shannon Initiative.
