Tara Dhanraj Roden currently works within the Justice, Health and Equity Program as Director of Reentry and Community Based Programs at ForHealth Consulting. In this position she oversees the implementation and fidelity of Massachusetts’ first After Incarceration Center, a people-first, judgement free and voluntary resource center for people reentering the community from incarceration. Tara has worked in the justice reform field for 9 years helping jurisdictions across the country improve practices and policies to reduce mass-incarceration. Most recently, Tara worked at the Vera Institute of Justice where she conducted a study on justice-involved women in a North Carolina county and provided recommendations to reduce justice-involvement, improve conditions in the local jail, and strengthen services in the community. She has also worked at the Council of State Governments Justice Center, National League of Cities and for the state of Maryland.
